Profile: Paddy Bishopp
Paddy is Chairman of the Suffolk Community Foundation’s Food and Drink Fund. Having spent the past 15 years within the Suffolk Food and Drink Sector, Paddy sees this as his way of giving back to a community and understands in a county that he loves.
Paddy founded Eat Anglia in 2004, a food and drink home delivery, followed by an award winning Café/Deli. The judges highlighted the quality of the coffee so when his coffee roaster moved abroad he saw an opportunity to launch a young, trendy vibrant coffee company.
In 2007, Paddy co-founded Paddy and Scott’s Cafes Ltd supplying Waitrose, Tesco, Barclays, B&Q, Daily Telegraph, Heinz, JW Lees and HP to name just a few. They had over 50 café concessions, many in B & Q, and in 2015 launched 3 Paddy & Scott’s High Street Cafes.
Paddy sold out of Paddy and Scott’s in December 2017 and is now an active shareholder in Alchemy Wines and is setting up an Incubator to help Food and Drink Start Up Businesses.
Paddy has been an ‘Entrepreneur in Residence’ for CEDAR and The Lord Ashcroft International Business School and has mentored for the EE Hub.
